PTO News:
Next Wednesday, December 10, thousands of Valley residents will donate on-line – through the Valley Gives Day website – to support their favorite non-profits, like the JFK PTO. Every donation the PTO receives that day will increase our chances of winning additional Valley Gives cash awards, and support the programs that enrich our students educational experience at JFK. In a few days we will send out an e-mail with details on how to donate through a secure web page. Meanwhile, we ask that you mark your calendar for 12.10.14 and spread the word to family and friends by reminding them of all that the PTO does to support our students' education. The cookie dough from the Student Activities Fund Drive will be delivered Thursday Dec. 11th. Kate Parrott needs between 8-10 volunteers to help her sort & distribute it from 1:00 pm -7:00pm. She needs more initially to sort, then just a few towards the end. kparrott@northampton-k12.us
VINS is looking for a special volunteer to place at JFK Middle School! Long term Classroom Assistant needed to help a 6th grade Team consisting of 4 teachers. Office skills required such as copying, organizing, filing, taking down bulletin boards, reorganizing, and some one-to-one with students. At least once per week, days and times are flexible.
