SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN NEED
- If you are on social media there is a group called Northampton School Closure Working Group - join the group and there are lots of opportunities to help - an awesome way to find out where to help and what people need etc.
- If you are under 60, healthy and have no underlying health issues you can sign up to help through the Massachusetts Medical Reserve Corps. They need both medical and non-medical volunteers. The web site for more info is https://www.maresponds.org/
- As of now, the Northampton Survival Center remains in service and we are moving our food distribution outdoors. Clients should expect to be served at their cars and will receive further instructions when they arrive. Please click this link for more specific information addressing a variety of questions – for clients, volunteers, and concerned community members.
