Did you email to volunteer for
the JFK Antique Show and Sale? Sunday, March 11
JFK Afterschool Programs will hold
our annual Antique Show and Sale on Sunday, March 11. This is always a big
fundraiser for our program which benefits everyone. We will again be able to
use bakers and volunteers. We need parents who are willing and able to serve as
porters. Porters help antique dealers bring in their merchandise and are needed
from 2pm until 6pm on Saturday, March 10 and on Sunday, March 11 at 3pm when
all the dealers are loading to head home. We can also use volunteers to work
the bake sale and admissions table. To volunteer, email Peggy Clapp at pclapp@northampton-k12.us. Thanks for your continuing help and support!
Upcoming Community Events:
On Tuesday, February 27 from
5-7pm, Northampton Prevention Coalition and SPIFFY will have a presentation on the Cannabis Control Commission's Draft Regulations (or final
if available by then). Additionally, NETA has been invited to present on their
experience implementing the medicinal marijuana regulations and their thoughts
on the CCC draft regulations. After the brief presentations, there will
be a limited amount of time for public comment. The meeting will take place in
Council Chambers at 212 Main Street.
This forum is a general forum on
the implementation of the recreational marijuana regulations. It will not be
about zoning issues such as buffer zones or retail density, which have been
referred to the City
