After School updates:
Sunday, March 15, from 10-3 the After School Program will hold its annual Antique Show. This is one of the largest fundraising events that we have. We are looking for volunteerson Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 to work. We will also be looking for volunteers to bake for our bake sale and the chili dinner for the dealers. Every dime we make helps us to keep the program running and affordable.
School News:
JFK Middle School is pleased to announce it's school-wide community service event to benefit Foster Dignity, a program of Friends of Children. The Foster Dignity project seeks donations of NEW clothing, toiletries, and other useful items for babies through teens. The seventh grade Green Monster Team will lead the school in a collection drive from March 9 to April 17. Students and their families are encouraged to donate items or cash for this vital cause. The Green Monsters also invite donations from those in the community at large, and ask that you drop them off in the JFK front office. Bee a Bee Baker! The Northampton Education Foundation needs bakers to donate treats for the bake sale at the 15thAnnual NEF Adult Spelling Bee on Wednesday, March 25! All sales benefit grants to the Northampton Public Schools.
