Seeking Parent Volunteers to assist with 6th & 7th Grade Dances!
This year the 6th & 7th grade dances will be held March 1 and March 22 and the theme chosen by the Student Council is “The 80’s”! We will need parent/guardian volunteers as chaperones, to donate snacks, and to help decorate and clean up after the dances. Stayed tuned for our sign up sheet. We find it works best if you volunteer to work at the dance your child is NOT attending (crazy, right?). If you can help in advance with 80’s dance designs and logistics, contact the PTO at jfkmspto@gmail.com.

Do you have a great idea for our public schools?

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Hidden in Plain Sight - Exhibit Open Through February 4
Hampshire Regional’s School Council is pleased to present a week-long event where parents/guardians can participate in the Hidden in PlainSight exhibit. Hidden in Plain Sight is an interactive exhibit designed to be a mock bedroom to show where teens may be hiding drug and alcohol paraphernalia. This invitation has been extended to Northampton Parents and Guardians.

Hampshire Regional will host this free exhibit from the South Shore Youth Health Connection from noon-8pm on Monday. Adults can make an appointment to visit this exhibit to learn about spotting signs of risky behavior by participating in this doodle appointment creator at https://doodle.com/poll/hmgwkd87bd72mi2s. The exhibit is only available to adults. Once you sign up for a slot or "vote" on the Doodle poll, you can assume that spot is your appointment time. If your appointment is during school hours, please come in the front doors and sign in at the main office.  If your appointment is after hours, you should enter through the doors near the auditorium and proceed to the second floor where you can sign in with the exhibit staff. The exhibition will be located in our second floor conference room. If you have questions, please feel free to email ksmidy@hr-k12.org
