Volunteers Needed! JFK Antique Show and Sale (Sunday, March 11)
JFK Afterschool Programs will hold our annual Antique Show and Sale on Sunday, March 11. This is always a big fundraiser for our program which benefits everyone. We will again be able to use bakers and volunteers. We need parents who are willing and able to serve as porters. Porters help antique dealers bring in their merchandise and are needed from 2-6pm on Saturday, March 10 and on Sunday, March 11 at 3pm when all the dealers are loading to head home. We can also use volunteers to work the bake sale and admissions table. To volunteer, email Peggy Clapp at pclapp@northampton-k12.us. Thanks for your continuing help and support!

This lively, spontaneous and hilarious show will begin at 7pm and go until 8:30pm in Northampton High School's Auditorium. The cost is $5. Funktionlust, now in its 13th year is the only Improv group at NHS and has enough liveliness to power Childs Park! With all their spontaneity and enthusiasm, they have entertained their audiences at First Night, Northampton and Florence's Arts Night Out, and with their fellow students at NHS! Mission:IMPROVable is the University of Massachusetts Amherst's premiere short-form improvisational comedy group. Combining sharp wit, relentless teamwork, and enough energy to power a small village, Mission has been bringing endless laughs to the Pioneer Valley for over 26 years. They are currently the reigning champions of the annual ImprovBoston College Comedy Festival. The show is family-friendly and ideal for everyone! And it is a great escape from the cold. https://umasscomedyleague.com/missionimprovable/

Volunteers in Northampton Schools Annual Dog Show (March 3, 12pm)
Does your dog sport the “best smile”? How about most “ear-resistable ears”? Whatever it may be, please join us for our VINS 13th Annual Dog Show on Saturday, March 3 at 12pm noon at Northampton High School. Only the dogs pay for admission. Everyone else is free! There is food, face painting, a country raffle, vendors telling or selling their services, and so much more. What a fun day in a sometimes dreary March. What better way to have fun than a day full of dogs! https://sites.google.com/site/northamptonvins/events/vins-dog-show
