VINs is offering Tutoring training for Math and Literacy Monday, Feb 2 9:30am -12pm at Ryan Road

 

Northampton Public School Action Coalition is offering a Roundtable of Issues in Public Education  on High Stakes Testing, Charter Schools, and Public school promotion on Monday Jan 26 7 pm at  JFK

 

PTO Updates

PTO Updates:

Student Directories and the Annual appeal went out before break.  If you did not get a copy, please email us at jfkmspto@gmail.com. We apologize if your student was not included, we sent multiple paper and email requests for families to fill out the online registration system this year.

 

Please donate to the PTO.  Ask your child – did they have a presentation from the Museum of science? Did they have a visiting Scholar on Greek and Roman history visit their classroom?  Does their teacher use a projector? Are they looking forward to an 8^th grade culmination trip for their language or reading classes?  These are all possible because families like you donate to the PTO.  The annual appeal form is available here.

 

The Blog is the your resource for finding out about events at JFK and the community.  We have a calendar, helpful links, easy ways to support JFK and previous news updates. 

 

Afterschool updates:

Mathemagic will be offered on Wednesday and not on Thursday as it was in the registration packet.  Registration forms are due tomorrow, Friday Jan 9^th.

Community Updates:

NEF request for Proposals is available.  Do you have a great idea for the Northampton Public Schools? See the NEF website for more information. 

There is an important meeting on public funding for public schools at NHS this Saturday from 11-1.  Here is a Gazette link with more information.  All are encouraged to attend.
